I am finally back to having time to write on a daily basis, and it feels so good. I even spent time writing over the weekend. Not much but enough.
The book is now a little over half way complete, and I have a little more than a 1/3 to go. This has been by far the most tedious book to write, and I’m not sure why. I think it had something to do with the fact that I decided to not only try and finish this book this summer, but I also launched a new brand this summer. Things on the launch have slowed tremendously, so now I can focus on other tasks.
My goal is to have it ready to go by December.
I have been managing to find time to do small edits. I have found that trying to edit the entire book after it is finished leaves me with too many typos and mistakes that I tend to miss. (I learned this from the YA books I published)
I write for a week and then edit those chapters written during the week.
I am planning to narrow things down in my outline to determine how many more chapters I should have. This should definitely be fun.
I also plan to generate some nice advertising for the book moving forward. Look for that out there as well.
