Lately I have been devouring books. I think I’m up to 117 books read since January 1st. I decided not to set myself a goal because I’d read more, and I was right. I’ve tried to read different authors, and I will usually read several books by authors that I enjoy their writer’s voice. With that said, Laura Pavlov’s Magnolia Falls series has been one of my favorite.
Have a I suggested one of her books before?
Anyway…
I have enjoyed reading about the men of Magnolia Falls, and this latest one is no exception. In fact, throughout the other books, I’ve been waiting on Nash Heart’s story. A single dad caring for one of the coolest little boys ever! What’s not to enjoy? Beating Heart by Laura Pavlov does not disappoint in delivering a HEA for Nash, and I am so over the moon about this book. It laughed over the antics of some of my favorite characters (Peyton and her inappropriate comments that I enjoyed from King’s story, and King’s constant ribbing of Hayes).
Check out Nash’s story and get a little more of “Beefcake” and his girls. (You have to be a reader of the series to understand the Beefcake remark. I promise, it’s worth it!
