It’s summer time and many of you are probably heading out for vacation. Or maybe your summer is free, and you can read to your heart’s desire. I get it. I love books. I write books, and I read them. There’s no shame in my reading game. I even have few genres that I don’t like. I read everything.
Of course, right now, in my Amazon Kindle Fire, I have a selection of dark mafia romance, paranormal romance, and some odd nonfiction reads.
But just for you, I’m going to give you some of my favorite spicy reading recommendations that are perfect for summer.
- Twisted Games by Ana Huang: I love all of this author’s books. This book had two characters who challenged each other at every angle. It had a strong feminine protagonist who pushed the boundaries on what she was supposed to do.
- Obsession Falls by Claire Kingsley: This is the perfect combination of romance and comedy, plus it adds in a little mystery that makes everything come together in a way that you wouldn’t expect.
- Tempted by the Devil by Michelle Heard: This is one of those dark mafia romances. The main character goes to a party with her brother only to realize it isn’t a party, but her wedding, and she’s been sold to the head of the mafia. It was a great read.
- Silent Vows by Jill Ramsower: This is another dark mafia romance with an alpha dominant male. It has steamy romance and mystery. It’s a forced marriage and just when he thinks things will be great because she’s mute, he realizes there’s a dark secret there to uncover and someone he has to protect.
- Corrupted Chaos by Shain Rose: Extra spicy. And funny. Two characters who fight, even though they are made for one another. It just takes some time for them to realize it.
